Healthy Communities •Healthy Youth Facilitator Training
Healthy Communities•Healthy Youth is a national initiative to unite communities for children and adolescents. The initiative seeks to focus on the strengths or assets of our youth and foster a sense of shared responsibility for all young people. At the heart of the initiative is information about 40 “developmental assets” that all young people need. Level I and Level II trainings will give you the tools to become a spokesperson for “asset building” in your own organization or circle of influence. The Level 2 Training is a continuation of the Level 1 Facilitators Training and will focus on skills and resources needed to educate others about the “asset philosophy” and the 40 developmental assets. Participants will practice scripts for presentations. Adults and teens are invited.
