Parenting Children Of Divorce
A Seminar for Separating and Divorcing Parents

This four-hour program shows parents how to help their children through the process of parental separation and/or divorce. This program is appropriate for parents, grandparents and stepparents concerned about a child whose parents are separated or divorced.

The program is designed to increase awareness of children's reactions to their parents’ separation or divorce and provide possible strategies to lessen the impact on families. Reactions of children of all ages, infant through young adult, will be discussed.

Each workshop is presented by one mental health professional and one attorney.

*Paul, in Parenting Children of Divorce said: “Your Parenting Children of Divorce program offered a fresh perspective to a very emotional issue. At first, all I wanted to do was get even with my ex-wife for hurting me. Now, all I’m concerned about is my daughter’s well-being and making sure she is happy and well-adjusted. This is a great workshop!”

*After completing Parenting Children of Divorce, Elizabeth and Franklin said: “We are remarried and are a very happy healthy communicating family. Thanks! We learned to communicate with each other and our child better and we strongly agree that the workshop was helpful. We stopped blaming each other for everything and started to communicate in a more business-like manner. We realized how much divorce would impact our child and decided we could do better and we are!”
