Since 1989, the Family Life Council has provided over $24,000 in college scholarships, thru the Pratto Family Life Scholarship Fund, to teen parents who completed the Good Beginnings Teen Parent program and continue their education. The Pratto Family Life Scholarship recipients are graduating high school seniors from Guilford County who will be attending college. All recipients are teenage mothers who are providing a hope and a future for their children by continuing their education. This fund provides scholarships to teen parents who have successfully completed Family Life Council’s parent education program, Good Beginnings for Teen Parents. Monies are donated by individuals and civic groups and are intended to encourage young parents to pursue higher education.

Pratto Family Life Scholarships

Program participants who attend all sessions become eligible for up to $500 in scholarship funds upon graduation from high school. If you would like to make contribution to the Family Life Pratto Scholarship fund please send payments to:
